On 07-Sep-07, the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) held their annual Global Information Industry Summit in Berlin, Germany. During the event, a panel discussion was held on the topic of Copyright 2.0 Rights Implications Generated Content. This session delved into the somewhat uncharted territory of copyright issues in a Web 2.0 enabled Internet. Experts from all sides of the equation shared their own experiences and opinions on this topic. Gartner positions Mashups as Strategic |

Gartner has identified Mashups as one of their Top 10 Strategic Technologies for 2008. The companies analysis was presented on 09-Oct-07 at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando, Fla. Gartner analysts David Cearley and Carl Claunch reviewed the top 10 list of technologies and urged IT executives to think about the risk of not implementing each one The analyst firm posed the question: If your competitor masters one of these technologies and you don’t, will you be at a strategic disadvantage?
